Q: Original Feelings integrates art into the practice space in a way that seems quite intentional. How do you select the artworks that inhabit the studio and what do you hope practitioners take away from this layered experience of breath, feeling, and visual art?

A: I’m drawn to works that don’t try to explain themselves too quickly. Pieces that feel open, that allow people to project something of themselves into them. In a way, it’s similar to the practice itself - not something you consume, but something you meet. What I hope people take away is a subtle shift in perception. That practicing yoga doesn’t happen in isolation, but in dialogue with the room, with light, with texture, with what is seen and what is felt. The art becomes part of that ecosystem. Something that gently expands the experience beyond the body, without distracting from it.

Q: Berlin seems to shake things up for anyone who spends time here. How has it changed you, both as a founder and as a person? What does community mean to you in this city?

A: Berlin confronts you with speed, with chaos, with possibility, and at the same time, it gives you an incredible amount of freedom. As a founder, it taught me to trust my own rhythm more. Not to build something just because it’s expected, but because it feels true. On a personal level, it made me more honest. More direct. But also more aware of the need for softness within that.

"Community in Berlin is not something that is just there, you create it. It’s built through small, repeated encounters, through shared spaces, through showing up, and when it exists, it feels very real."

Q: Beyond the studio, where in Berlin do you go when you need to unwind? What are the places to connect with your feelings, whether through art, food, conversation, movement or learning something new?

A: - Neue Nationalgalerie for art

- Remi for lunch

- TRIO for dinner

- Original feelings for yoga and pilates ;)

- Botanical garden for strolls and walks
