A letter from Julia:
This playlist is a bit of a scrapbook of the records I've gotten to put my hands on: the mixes and masters I hold close to my heart. Some of these tracks I lived inside of for weeks; others came together in an hour that just clicked.
What ties them together isn't a genre so much as a feeling — that moment in a track where the low end hits your chest, or a vocal sits so close it feels like it's whispering directly into your ear.
The goosebumps in the music. That's the thing I chase every day in the studio, and I hope you find a moment in here that does the same for you.

Q: What did you want to become as a child?
A: An astronaut. I've always been a STEM kid at heart, obsessed with how things work. Audio engineering ended up being the place where those two obsessions could finally live in the same room: the precision and problem-solving of the science side, together with the pure feeling of the creative side.
Q: What's the most Berlin thing that's ever happened to you?
A: Swinging by a late afternoon event for five minutes just to say hi to some friends, and not making it home until 7am the next day.
Q: If Berlin were a song, which one would it be?
A: Kevin de Vries, Kölsch - Gate
